The 1.15.x versions break with GeneratePress + GP Premium addon plugin in the Customizer.

When changing color options the palette shows empty swatches and not the assigned colors. And it seems to happen on every other item – if there are 4 color options in a panel then 1 and 3 have the error but 2 and 4 show the normal palette. Very weird.

I’ve rolled back sites to 1.14.7 until this is resolved.

Follow up: I checked the latest version with the latest WP update and GP still has issues. I looked at multiple Color selection panels in the Customizer. This was the only thing I see that’s true for all of them.

The LI tag with this class Fails.

The LI tag with this class is fine.

    Hi Karl,

Thanks for your report. What version of GeneratePress and GP Premium are you using?

    Hi Daniel,
I confirm this issue. I use GeneratePress 2.4.2 and GP Premium 1.11.3.
I noticed that the problem happens only with the background colors, not with the text colors.

    Thanks ??

Strange happenings indeed. I’ve checked it earlier this morning and I agree that the one picker for the background colour doesn’t integrate. Ah, I’ll get that bug eventually.

    Daniel –
I’m using the latest versions of GP and GPP. GP is 2.4.2 and GPP is 1.11.3

Thanks for being responsive to users.

Found it. I’ve added colour names as titles to the palette of GP pickers. Unfortunately GP processes palettes in two ways: one for WP’s normal pickers and another for GP’s pickers who support transparency. GP assigns palettes to transparency pickers in such a way that I cannot slip in colour names without creating a mess. Therefor: not colour hovers for them.

    Check out version 1.15.3.

Awesome. Tested on 2 sites and everything looks good.
Color names on hover is (for me) a luxury and not a necessity.

Thanks again for your responsiveness to the issue and for making a super useful plugin.

    Great, thanks Daniel ??
