• Hi! Scanning my website I get numerous errors as most pages have “Multiple meta descriptions”. Can I ask might these be being outputted by GeneratePress? And if so how can I turn these off.

    Many thanks for any advice.

    Hi Matt,

Do you have any SEO plugin installed?

If so, can you disable the SEO plugin, clear cache and test again?

    Let me know ??

@yingscarlett he uses AIOSEO and wants to use that (instead of GeneratePress) to control his titles/descriptions.

    Hi @arnaudbroes

GeneratePress doesn’t add meta tag for description by default and WordPress core handles the title tag.

Any WP SEO plugin should have the capability to filter/add these things out by default. (Rankmath and Yoast can do this)

But as for AIOSEO’s usage specifically, it’s best to refer to the plugin’s documentation.
