    Hi,

    I have an api key wiht the monthly subscripiton.

    Could you please explain to me in more details what [Generate the <picture> markup in the front-end] functionallity does exactly.

    Will it change my theme files by replacing with a <picture> tag?

    Should I create a backup of my theme files before I apply this function?

    Hi,
    thanks for your message and for using ShortPixel!

    Using the “<picture> markup” option will change your website’s HTML on the fly only. There is no need to do any backup to your theme files as if you deactivate this option the HTML will be the original one.

    Ok, I just run it on my site it took about 8 hours (abouz 8000 images), and I had to come back to tell you that this is a frikkin AWESOME plugin. Seriously Thank You!
