I’ve installed Contact Form 7 Honeypot v1.6 and activated it, but when I go into Contact Form 7 to edit a form and pick ‘Honeypot’ from the Generate Tag list, it gives me a grey rectangle saying ‘Honeypot’ with nothing other than a ‘x’ at the right that closes it.

This is very different to in the installation video where it shows a panel containing options and a shortcode when ‘Honeypot’ is chosen from the Generate tag list.

I’m running WordPress 3.9.1 and Contact Form 7 v3.9. This version was installed before I installed the Honeypot, so I’m not sure if it would have worked in an earlier version of Contact Form 7.

I have a similar problem, looks like it’s related to the new version of Contact Form 7.

I assume this honeypot plugin needs to be updated…

Same issue here. Error at the bottom of the contact form edit screen.

I have the same problem creatin or editing a contact form.

Hi guys, it was related to some significant changes to CF7 between v3.8.1 and 3.9. I’ve just released an update (v1.6.1) which should sort out this problem.

Thanks for the update, I installed the update v1.6.1 and the generate tag feature is working now.
