    No longer an issue. ty!

The linked post shows an example of a post that was posted previously (Jan 8, 2017) and updated recently (July 19, 2020).

    1. When using Enable GeneratePress Theme Support to replace post meta, it doesn’t respect the “Disable update” checkbox option. All my posts are showing the update date instead of the publish date. Unfortunately this is resulting in all my posts &pages showing the date that I restored my blog from a backup.

    2. I’m not sure if this is possible. I’d like to have the GeneratePress Theme Support enabled but to display “Published on %publish_date%. Updated on %modified_date%.” Is there a way I can make this work? I’ve tried using the “Enter text or HTML to Replace” box in the Template options but it doesn’t change anything when GeneratePress Theme Support is enabled (I assume this is intentional).

    Hello @regenerationshapes,

Please update the plugin to the latest available version and then use Custom Template Method from The Template Tags Tab, you can get what ypu actually want.

    Thanks!
