Generate PlaceMarks with Text File

    I wonder if you could advise me on the following.

    Could I import a text file which would generate placemarks and plot the placemarks on the map.

    The text file would be such as….

    Latitude1,Longitude1,Town1,Description1,
    Latitude2,Longitude2,Town2,Description2,
    Latitude3,Longitude3,Town3,Description3,
    etc

    The routine would be written in php.

    Basically what I would like to know is

    Can I import a text file to generate PlaceMarks.
