Generate missing webp versions not working

    I recently deactivated and reactivated Imagify on my site and took the opportunity to investigate the settings.

    I discovered that “It seems that you have 14 optimised images without WebP versions. You can generate them here if backup copies are available.”

    I tried and still see 14 without webP.

    I have backup original images ticked
    I have Use <picture> tags (preferred) selected
    I even deleted 2 images that I no longer require and still have 14 without webP

    I’d be grateful for any insight

    Hi Kenny,

    Thanks for your patience!

    If you have images with “Well done…” status that were added before WebP feature was introduced, that could cause the problem.

    Since WebP was not created, but also these images won’t be processed again from the settings page. You have to go to Media Library -> List View, find them and then process them again – it will create WebP and won’t affect your quota.
