Generate mailto-link instead of direct sending

    I am not sure how “easily” it can ruin a mailer reputation if you are sending well crafted emails and SPF/DKIM etc are set up correctly. I have yet to hear of this happening…ever.

    I don’t have a problem with the idea at all. Truth is, it wouldn’t be difficult to implement and will probably do so. However it would restrict using any HTML in the message so any Markdown or other formatting in the petition message would be lost. I could make that clear in the plugin.

    I am pretty snowed under with work that generates an income and, with respect, I have lost count of the number of “donation in return for a new feature” promises that have not been honoured. So a donation offer is not why I will do this.
