Generate-fonts-css and Clouldflare

I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while now and finally did:

GP adds this in the wp_head section:

My site is on Cloudflare.

If I bypass Cloudflare’s cache, the code looks just like the above when I look at the source code.

However, when Cloudflare is active, it rolls out 900+ lines of css code… I’ll post some of it below as an example.

Many of the /fonts.gstatic.com/ urls are identical.

It seems wasteful to list out 900 lines of code, often with repeated urls, but I guess Cloudflare is parsing the generated stylesheet and including it on the page?

1) is this the intended behavior? Cloudflare seems clueless, their support was unable to tell me where this was coming from until I figured it out myself

2) is this good, bad, or inconsequential, when it comes to site speed?

3) Is there a better, more efficient, way to do this?

4) and just ’cause I’m curious, why does this happen with this stylesheet but not other stylesheets that are linked the same way?
