generate dynamic image URL depending on date

    I am using a jetpack widget to display a weather map in the sidebar. The URL of the image has a date embedded in it – 20150525 to identify it which of course will change tomorrow. Is there any widget that can auto generate a URL depending on the datetime? I’ve had a look for a plugin that could do this but without any look. It would be possible with JQuery outside WordPress so why not inside?
