• I’m looking to translate a website, but i need to be able to sometimes change the default text on the page, yet not changing the translation, or vice versa.

For instance, when i want to write an update in the existing text for English users on the English page. The translated page, in my case Dutch, has to stay the same, because this English update isn’t for Dutch readers. And vice versa.

Right now I am using Translatepress. The problem is, whenever I change the default text, the Dutch translated version is gone because it doesn’t match the English text anymore it was translated from. So I have to write it all over again, or first copy the Dutch text, then change the English text, and paste the Dutch text as that translation again… It’s not efficient.

So basically i just need the structure of a translated website, but i need to be able to edit the other language versions texts of the pages independently of each other.
