General Settings > Date Format incorrect for English (South Africa)

  • When the Date Format is set to “j F Y” then the full name of the month should be displayed (according to PHP’s date() function).

    When the Site Language is set to “English (South Africa), however, the name of the month is abbreviated to three letters on both front- and backends.

    Is there a specific reason for this?

    Does anyone know of a solution as I don’t want to change the Site Language to English (UK) or English (United States)?
