General question for a simple rental business?

    Hello,

    Does anyone tried/used this plugin for a general equipment rental business. I am planning to rent out 500 products and I am looking for a simple management system.

    Would this plugin be sufficient? Does anyone have any experience using this plugin not for books?

    Any tips, suggestions are welcome

    Another question, is it possible to hold/reserve a book(product) online? As I am reading status “Check shelves” which I would like to be “reserve now”

    I don’t know about *rental*, but it does work for *loans* of anything loanable (such as tools, toys, etc.).

    In order to “reserve” something (place a hold on it), a patron needs to create a WordPress login and have that login associated with a Patron ID. The *librarian* create the Patron Records and either lets the patron select his Patron record or the librarian does that. The frontside short codes detect of the visitor is logged in and if the visitor has a Patron ID, and displays a “Request” button which the visitor can click on to reserve (place a hold on) the item.
