General Public License & Payment Method

    Hi There,

    I’m going to launch a plugin and I will be charging them every month to use my plugin.

    Should I go with General Public License v2.0 or later?

    I’m new to wordpress developer, so I’m not sure how the payment method works ie., to stop the service if they are not paying it from the 3rd month. Should I control from my website or Is there any option from WordPress?

    I heard that all the files are free to use and people can modify the files/coding. Is it true or can I restrict some files? It is a partial paid plugin.
