General Options: How do I change them in the config files?

  • I goofed in the address I used in the General Options in the WordPress admin tools and now it’s redirecting me. I can’t access the admin tools.

    Which config files can I change the WordPress Address and Blog Address in? I need to go around the admin tools and edit the files directly. I’m just not sure which ones control those two fields.

    They are not in files. You’ll find them in the MySQL database. If I remember well in the wp_options table, like “siteurl” and “blogurl” (not 100% sure about the latter one, but if you are there, you’ll find it)

    Thanks Moshu. That was it. I figured it out by going thru phpMyAdmin
