• In general, I am simply disappointed about the update.

I build a large database with the prior version. Customers were happy – I was happy.

(Major topics for me )The new version however:

    – Mobile unfriendly! Lessons with larger Headings for example get squeezed. Simply not a nice look

    -Search function does not work

    – No auto subscribe function like it was in prior version. Now free lessons have additionally that “preview” Text in the sidebar. In previous version I simply marked the lesson for free – now I have it for free but need to check addionally the preview setting to make it visible for customers.

-Last but not least – worst part: restore learnpress back to older version creates a huge WordPress error. Site down- everything down. Had to do a manual restore of complete site.

Please seriously check these things. The new update does not work for me any longer… Thank you for your effort but the update created a huge mess…`

    Hi,

We so sorry for your inconvenience, we are trying hard to LearnPress better. Thank you for your feedback, we will discuss reverting the function you want in the next version.

    Thanks

The latest version of LearnPress is a disaster! It broke my client’s site. I followed instructions and updated it on a staging copy of the site. The following problems occurred.

    1. It changed the image layout and display of courses. Each course appears vertically with a HUGE preview image. I couldn’t work out how to change it back to how it looked prior to the update
    2. The site is using WooCommerce and the Mollie payment plugin, but now if you try and pay for a course it says “no payment provider”

As the site in question earns money from people booking and paying for courses online this is a disaster. This update obviously hasn’t been tested enough and to bring it out live with so many problems is just irresponsible. I won’t be upgrading to the latest version. This is dreadful considering that I’m using premium plugins from Thim Press that no longer appear to work with LearnPress. IMHO you guys should roll back to the previous version and not do another release without much more in-depth testing.

    Sloppy work guys!

    Hi,

We have developed LearnPress 4.0 in 18 months and we have released a three version beta with three months install beta to test before release. We have the message for all user to use LearnPress testing before the update but maybe you ignore it. If you use our premium item you can create a ticket on our support system, our developer will fix it for you. If you use a theme of 3rd party, please contact the author of the theme, maybe they can help you.

    Thanks
