    Hi,

I’m looking into using this slider, but have a few questions to see if it can accomplish what we’re trying to do.

We’d like to have 3 images display in the carousel even though there may be more images than that. In the middle, the large image, and to the left and to the right, smaller images (not quite as small as thumbnails) of the prev and next slides to show there are more images.

Under the main image, we’d like a text caption underneath which is associated with each slide, as well as left and right arrows to move the slider.

Is this possible with your plugin?

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

We use FlexSlider to handle carousels and they do not have an option to center the main image, unfortunately. So I don’t think you will be able to achieve what you want with MetaSlider at this time. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks, is it possible to reposition arrows and text underneath the main image? As well as using custom arrow images?

Such that it would look like:
    ———————————-
    |
    | image
    |
    ———————————-
<- -> caption text here under image to the right of nav arrows…

    Hi,

Yes that is possible. On the right of the settings page you will see a section for themes. “The Architekt” is similar to how you want it. Then you can use CSS to make any changes as needed.

Thanks, I assume that’s a Pro feature to be able to see that theme? I don’t see it on the free version, but just want to confirm. Thanks!

    Hi @ceenee

No, that is a free feature. Do you see other themes?

I only see 4 themes in a dropdown box in the sidebar. Apparently our host has an old version of Metaslider. If I look at my own copy it does have the Architekt theme (v3.14), so it looks like I need to ask our host to upgrade to get this free theme.

    Thank you!
