    Hello Team

    I got the general error whenever I enable google reCaptcha v3.

    I have also read mostly all doc given by you online and implemented whatever you want me to add or remove.

    Still I am on the same step.

    I too am seeing a similar issue.
    I am running WordPress v5.2.1 and Mailchimp for WP v4.5.2
    If recaptcha is disabled in Mailchimp for WP the sign-up form submits fine.
    If I enable recaptcha and add the keys I get the following error:
    ‘Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again later.’
    Nothing is displayed in the Mailchimp for WP debug log and no attempt is logged in the Mailchimp API access log – so it seems like the issue is local to the site/plugin.
    I hope you will be able to advise on a resolution.

    Yes, I have just re-tested form submission with Recaptcha enabled and I still get the same error.

    I am using different email addresses each time I try and signup.

    Hey Mark,

    I just tested the form using my personal email “me@harish……com”. I saw the “Thank you! Please check your inbox for an email confirmation.” message based on which I can confirm the form is working as it should.

    Please go to “MailChimp for WP > Others” and share with us any errors listed there. Make sure to remove any sensitive data when you share the logs.

    I think you must have tested the OP’s form, not mine – as I haven’t posted a link to my website publicly here.

    At present I have ReCaptcha turned off. If I have it turned on I get an error.

    I would be happy to provide a link to my site with the issue – if you have a way to communicate that privately?

    Has a solution for this problem been found?

    I have a popup on this page: https://www.wapititravel.com/blog/en/best-sakura-spots-in-tokyo/ that returns many “general errors” once Recaptcha is enabled.

    At first it always returned the “general error”. Now, one day later, sometimes I can sign up, other times it won’t work. I’m not sure if these are false positives given back by the Recaptcha validation?

    Would it be better to add the Recaptcha script to the homepage? This would maybe give the script more time to learn the user’s behavior. The form is embedded in a pop-up.
