    Dear community,

I am building this website and it has to be strictly GDPR-conform since it is sponsored by the German state etc. I see that there is a switch in the general options “Enable GDPR compliance”. But what exactly does it do?

I worry about my YouTube-content. As far as I know there should be a banner that you have to click to opt-in to viewing the external YouTube content.

    Thank you and regards!
    Arne

    Hi @arnerobot ,
Thank you for posting your question.
In the LightBox settings of our photo gallery, we have an option named “Show Captcha For Comments.” The “Enable GDPR compliance” option will disable the “Show Captcha For Comments” option. This is because the “Show Captcha For Comments” option is not GDPR compliant

However this option ( Show Captcha For Comments) is available only in premium version of the plugin, Please note that in the www.remarpro.com forum, we only reply to free product-related questions. For questions regarding the Premium version, please get in touch with our support team using the following form.

Let me know if you have any further questions or if the answer helped you!

    Best Regards,
    Yasin
