We are using AI Engine 2.6.8. Gemini 2.0 Flash is not listed among the available models through the Google API. Will this require an update of AI Engine, and if so, when will the update be available?

    Hey @michael8888! ??

AI Engine fetches Google models using Google’s API endpoint with your registered API key. If some models are missing, it could mean you don’t have access to them via the API or that the models are not accessible at all. If you believe there is an issue with the plugin, you can manually query this: https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1/models using your API key to check for any discrepancies in the available models. Thank you!

I can access Gemini 2.0 Flash with the BoltAI app using the same API key. So it appears to be an AI Engine issue. Did you try it yourself?

    Hey?@michael8888! ??

As of today, AI Engine uses the “models” endpoint, as explained in my previous message. Experimental models (such as Gemini 2.0 Flash) are not accessible through this API endpoint because they are not suited for production use. To access these models, their names must be specified explicitly until they are officially released. For now, the AI Engine only lists published models for the Google API. Thank you!

    Val, I appreciate the clarification!
