I have NO way to disable GEARS in the Tools menu. How can I disable this I believe it is affecting my tinymce buttons arrangement.
    Please help.
    Thank you.

  • Disable it in your BROWSER Tools menu.

Then clear your browser’s cache, quit the broswer, start the browser again.

It wasn’t affecting my TinyMCE Adv. That just needed to be deactivated, deleted, then reuploaded to the server via FTP. Then activated in WP…worked fine. Gears, however, I uninstalled through control panel.
I don’t like it. Not good if you are constantly working in the WP on website. Not for me.
    Thank you.

trying to remove this so my users dont see it
    any ideas?

I cant find where you can disable Gears.

    Raginwolf & dandr69,

You must disable it from your browser (the one you surf internet) Tools menu, NOT from your Blog Tools menu!
