GDPR SOLUTION

We are working on a big Gdpr update
Do you have any design ideas from the websites who have implimented Gdpr in a Different way?

We would love your opinion so we can improve on it and help you get the right solution

As a publisher I just want:

-A simple thing, that doesn′t disturb the readers.Example: https://prnt.sc/jm4xxk
-It′s important that it′s possible to add a link. For example in “Cookie Notice por dFactory”, you can add HTML and add a link to the Cookie policy page.

Examples of websites which are implementing the GDPR:

elmundo.es https://prnt.sc/jm4tv4 (In my opinion this is the better)
thesun.co.uk is doing also an easy solution: https://prnt.sc/jm4ws9

As you can see, what they are doing is using a simple cookie notice, adding a link that says “More information and cookie policy”

I hope this helps you. I would be happy to pay for the solution if it′s like that and it′s good for user experience.

Thank you for all the information and cooperation.

We already made a ticket on Github about the feature which you have talked about a link in notice bar and popup size should be small and today’s update you will get this feature in GDPR.

And what about a possibility if users do not accept cookies collection? That should have also opportunity to view a site.

Yes, the user can view the website who reject the cookies but we can’t display third party content because if we do then its a violation of GDPR policy.

“Settings Button Text” – what it is responsible for ?

the setting button text is responsible to change the text of the setting button which is displayed on the bottom of the page.

After click on this button users can change their consent because after clicking on this button the GDPR notice bar appears again.
