    Hey guys,

    Someone has just pointed out the following to me:

    “Note that to comply with GDPR rules, you need to disclose that you are sharing access rights to third parties like us in your Terms & Conditions”

    This message came from a Happiness Engineer at WooCommerce who is helping me with a problem I have on this site.

    I have used Complianz to create the following policies:
    Cookie Policy (EU) & (UK)
    Privacy Policy
    Refund and Returns Policy
    Terms and Conditions

    I don’t want to be in GDPR trouble and I was wondering if anyone might know what the best setting in Complianz would be to make sure this is disclosed? I’ve had a look around and I can’t see where such a disclosure would live and or where I can include it.

    Originally, I created an EU Cookie Policy. The WooCommerce store is based in the UK but selling worldwide and I’m also not sure if an EU policy is worth having or if I should remove it and just keep the UK one. Again, if anyone might know, I’d really appreciate any guidance.

    Hi @kateharris

    In the Wizard, under General>Sharing of data you can fill in information about Processors / Service Providers and other Third Parties you’re working with. This information is then published in the Privacy statement.

    If you are selling worldwide you should consider using Geo-ip in order to show the correct cookie policy for the region where your visitor comes from. That however is a feature that is only available in premium.

    Thank you for coming back to me.

    Under General, I have Visitors, Documents, Website Information, & Security & Consent. I can’t see sharing of data anywhere. Am I being silly? Is it right in front of me ??

    Thank you for clarifying where that would be displayed too. That’s very helpful for me.

    I sure would like to use the pro plan. I can see how it would be beneficial. But I’m building this site for someone else and I know that they want to keep costs as low as possible. $45 a year, might be too much for her, but at the same time, I would like the site to be as compliant as possible so that she doesn’t run into any pickles later.

    Hi @kateharris ,

    I think I made a mistake. Sharing of data, and also creating a Privacystatement, is only available in the pro plan. This is why you can’t see that option right now.
