gdpr ready?

  • hey, just a question concerning personal data (transmission of ip addresses..),

    do we need project honeypot links/key/connection to use this plugin?
    (also, spamcop sucks in general, lots of false positives/blacklisted dynamic ips, etc)

    so, can it be used without a connection to projecthoneypot.org? if it can be used locally only, then its gdpr ready, otherwise people need to add projecthoneypot privacy links everywhere, and we’d rather keep our sites clean.

    It can be used without Project Honeypot or Spamcop. You enable those individually in the admin. Or you can leave them disabled if you don’t want to use them.
