I need to inform my users what data is collected about them on my site, what data does this plugin specifically collect?

Our partners may link the personal information we share with them to the cookie stored on your browser or device, and they may collect information such as your IP address, browser or operating system type and version, and demographic or inferred-interest information. Our partners use this information to recognize you across different channels and platforms over time for advertising, analytics, attribution, and reporting purposes.

I found this, but it is very vague.
I see you collect mail and ip-adress, which requires a consent from my users, and they must also be able to opt-out of it, since it is not an essential part of the sale. There is my main problem… there is no way to opt-out of Beeketing on my site.

So if a person does not want to agree with Beeketing collecting their info, currently they can’t shop at my store. Which means I must just uninstall Beeketing until you get a way to opt-out for individual users.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your feedback. Actually, we have worked to comply with GDPR and informed [https://beeketing.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/24000025280-beeketing-and-general-data-protection-regulation-gdpr](here).

Regarding your question, we do collect email from your shoppers because we have the Happy Email app in Beeketing platform, which sends a welcome email to shoppers who just bought the first purchase or signed up with your store for the first time. Other than that, we do not manipulate the information or use it in any other ways that violate the law. I understand that you still removed Beeketing for that reason, but I just explain and hope you would understand for us.

    Best regards,
