Hello, I’ve been struggling to get the plugins Setting page to work with my homepage. I tried to understand with the debug console why the cookie-switch is not working, but my skills seem not to be enough. I am talking about the red/green toggle boxes in the Settings dialog (german: “Einstellungen”).

They stay disabled/red when clicked, although in the debugger I can see the css class changing to “checked”. There is no difference in using private browsing or other browers (tried: Chrome, Firefox) at all.

When I try to preview another theme, e.g. “Twenty Twenty” and go to the Settings dialog within the GDPR cookie plugin as a visitor, I can toggle the cookie-switch from red to green and back just fine. I obtained the Readme theme here: https://themeforest.net/item/readme-a-readable-wordpress-theme/9167043

Could you give me a pointer as to why this is not working as expected?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @knalla

    Thanks for using our plugins.

If our plugin works well with the default TwentyTwenty theme but not with your custom or themeforest theme, it means that there is some specific conflict with your custom theme.

You will need to ask your developer to investigate this as specific cases like these are outside of the scope of our support.

Sorry we can’t be of more help.
