GDPR Opt-In Checkbox for comments

Hi guys,
first of all, it is a great theme!
I have an issue with the GDPR Opt in Checkbox that has been added to “default” wordpress. For me it seems that the lighthouse theme is overriding the default WordPress comment form and thus it does not display the checkbox described here:https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-a-gdpr-comment-privacy-opt-in-checkbox-in-wordpress/
Can you please add that feature?
