I have other tools for this and my right corner is used for other things.
I try to get rid of this, Off and saving brings the same status on, after reset the same.

Is maybe a shortcode for this because on landig pages it doesn’t work even if I use Landing pages builder which has a widget with your plugin (tried with proper ID)

OK I found shortcode and it works with Landung pages, but not via your widget ??

This Privacy button still covers my messenger buttom rights, I want to get rid of this!

Hey @jaroslawistok sorry you’re having some issues with the GDPR feature of this plugin. Can you send a URL/screenshot of where you’re having this privacy button issue? Are you using any other ShareThis plugins on top of this one? Hope to hear from you soon so we can resolve this. Thanks!

It’s even on admin page, I just can’t save it under Off.

@jaroslawistok thanks for that. Helps me understand. Are you on the newest version of the plugin? I do believe we resolved that issue in a previous update so if you are we’ll need to make sure nothing was reverted.

    Version 1.1.7

    (@sharethis)

Oh alright do you have the ability to update the plugin to 1.5.1? You will not see this issue after that.

    Thread Starter jaroslawistok

    (@jaroslawistok)

I updated, same effect, I just can’t save this Off option by GDPR ??
    Also tried with deactivating Wordfence…

Can you try deactivating the plugin and relogging in to your account? The newest version should be without that issue, but there could be some stuff left in your DB so deactivating the plugin will clean that out.

Did all this and still the same.
Even also with Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.

@jaroslawistok I’m sorry for this issue! Unfortunately I cannot replicate on my end, to better assist would you mind creating an account for [email protected] so I can dig into the problem further?

    (@jaroslawistok)

short before to give up ??
I would maybe try to deinstall clean, please write me how are you SQL data entries to delete them.
If I remember good this problem was not from beginning only after choosing On by settings which now is not to get rid off.

    Plugin Author ShareThis

    (@sharethis)

@jaroslawistok The setting is saved under the option “sharethis_button_config”. It would be in the “sharethis_button_config[gdpr][enabled]”. Deactivating the plugin SHOULD delete that option, but yeah if you’re going to look for it and try to manually remove or change the value go ahead and make it equal “false”. Let me know how that goes.

    Thread Starter jaroslawistok

    (@jaroslawistok)

I reinstalled but in this file there is nothing with gdpr, no entry ??
    I only found share-button-settings.php
    Also not in button-config.php

@jaroslawistok The GDPR database entry will only show up when you enable it. If it is already enabled then you should find the database entry in the “options” table in your site’s database.

If you want to find where in the code this database entry is added, it is in the “class-admin-bits.php” file on line 295 in the “updateGDPR” function.

Let me know if this helps!

Just checking in on this issue @jaroslawistok. Were you able to find what you needed to in order to disable the GDPR function?

    Thread Starter jaroslawistok

    (@jaroslawistok)

please write full paths, you are here at home but im clicking a lot of folders to find this options or whatever you write. Nowhere I can find class-admin-bits.php.

I am really sad that you not really seem to want to help to resolve this and I am not the first that have this issue.

    ??

What do you mean with site database? SQL? Which table name if?
It is really not understandable …
In folder structure I find nothing what you are writing about.
    I am really frustrated.
