GDPR issue: elementor cookie

    Hi,
    elementor is counting the page views with a cookie in webstorage called elementor.
    Statistics are not allowed in certain countries without consent.

    Is there any way to remove this page view count cookie creation (filter/parameter etc.)?

    Hi,

    I understand your concern

    Cookies and LocalStorage / SessionStorage are not the same thing.
    Elementor does not use cookies. It uses local data storage.

    Please follow the steps of this guide to(deactivate/Delete) check the local storage:
    https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/storage/cookies

    You will see that on your website there is no cookie called “Elementor” saved but rather local storage whose key name is Elementor:

    This data is stored only on the visitors’ local browser and is not sent to us, your server, nor to any other third-party.
