    Hi there,

I would like to implement your plugin on one of my customers’ websites. However the GDPR notice on the site is not enough in Germany as I understand it. Therefore I would like to add the cookies that the plugin sets into the cookie consent tool. Could you tell me, which cookies are used and what they are named? I couldn’t really figure it out yet.

    Thank you!
    Ben

    Hi @benjamink1984,

Our plugin does capture the first name, last name, and email address of the user from the Checkout page (who is not logged in to the site). Apart from that, the plugin also keeps a log of the WooCommerce cart created by the guest user. This log is used to pre-load the cart when the user comes to complete the order from links sent in reminder emails. For registered users, all the above information is already stored by WooCommerce and we use the same. This is the only information we track and save in our plugin.

Do let us know if you will have any queries.

    Regards,
    Priyanka

    Hi @priyankajagtap,

thank you for your reply. For me it would be important to know the exact names of the cookies, so I am able to add them to the blocker.

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi @benjamink1984,

We do not store cookies in the browser. The “_woocommerce_persistent_cart” is the meta key of the record stored in the database for guest users.

You can check and let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards,
    Priyanka
