GDPR / cookies

I am busy with setting up a new website and I would like to use the Social Slider Widget for Instagram. Does the plugin uses cookies? This is important to know because of the Eurepean GDPR. I need to inform users concerning cookies and ask them for permission. Thanks, Nina
