    Hello,
    doe you plan to make the Events calender GDPR-complaint? I miss the option to load the Google map only after the user’s consent. Currently the only options I have is to switch the Google map feature off entirely or not to be GDPR-compliant, hoping that nobody will take offense.
    Thanks,
    Wiebke

    Hi there @wiebkewetzel!

    Right now our plugin aren’t GDPR Compliant for use Google Maps yet.
    But we have our internal team discussing about it.

    You’d hear some news bout this topic soon

    Thank you for your feedback and heads up ??

    @wiebkewetzel,

    GDPR compliance rests with the website/business owner. In short, here’s what you need to do:

    (1) Create your own policies (documents) in compliance with GDPR regulatory requirements (e.g., Privacy, Terms of Service, and Cookie policies).

    (2) Add the policies created in (1) to your website. Usually, your website’s footer.

    (3) Add a banner to your website (header or footer) advising visitors of your policies. There are many good plugins that will allow you to do this. Some plugins will block Google Maps, videos, etc, until the visitor clicks and “accepts” your GDPR-compliant policies.

    As an option, you can also contact your website theme’s developers for further assistance. Refer to article below as well.

    @deblynprado,

    Looks like Modern Tribe forgot to list Events Calendar in the article. Yikes!

    Cheers!
