    Hi,

First of all thank you: this theme is amazing.

Is it possible to downgrade to a version without Google Fonts, as the integration does not have to be done from Google servers to be GDPR compliant.

Take a look at : this post.

Some fonts integrated directly into the theme with @font-face would not be a compliance issue.

Switch to locally hosted webfonts is strongly recommended.

    Regards.

  • Hi,

Thank you, I’m glad you like the theme ??

I am planning to update my themes with some good solution to this problem. But have not yet decided what it would be.

Having said this, all of my themes already contain a custom typography setup. In Michelle you can set custom typography in Appearance → Customize → Theme Options → Typography where you can also disable Google Fonts loading.

Please note that I provide official support at https://support.webmandesign.eu/

    Best regards,

    Oliver

    Hi,

    Thanks for your quick answer.

Yes, I had seen the option, but it allows you to have a non-compliant site when you are a newbie without legal knowledge of the GDPR.

So it would be wise to remove it as soon as possible.

    Regards.
