    Hello.

As the new too complicated GDPR law goes live in May 25th I wanted to ask you if there are plans to make the plugin compatible and add new features/settings to it concerning data collection from the users/visitors and also presenting that information to them in the frontend and options to opt-out if they wish.

Since the plugin is all about sending newsletters, I’d like to hear your input on this because it concerns everyone I think.

    Please let me know.
    Thanks!

  • Hi !

    Thanks for the question

We will release an update in the near future to be RGPD compliant.

We are still figuring out how to be compliant the easiest way.

By the way, do you think it’s best to enable Mailchimp’s double opt-in to be more complied to GDPR?

In some countries like France it’s mandatory.

But it’s annoying for others: a double opt-in doesn’t convert as well as a single.

To be ‘safe’ it’s better to always activate double optin. I don’t really think there is a huge loss in subscribtion

    Thanks, will do.

I’m eagerly expecting the plugin update.
