• Hi guys,

Firstly thank you so much for building this plugin, it has been a great time saver in getting our site GDPR compliant.

After installing the plugin, I’ve noticed that there is no checkbox to accept GDPR under the comment field. This results in a WordPress error when someone tries to add a comment as it asks them to tick the GDPR box, despite not one actually being visible.

How can I get the checkbox to show? I can manually insert it into the comments template if need be.

    Thank You

    Danny

    Hello Kargo,

Great to hear you like our plugin. I just tested the page and the checkbox seems to be working.

    Is this problem resolved?

    Kind regards,
    Kevin

    Hi,
I have the same issue. However I can not see the issue solved on the linked page (from OP).
On my page the checkbox doesn’t appear, too. Check it out here: https://www.fahrradreparatur.net/scheibenbremsen-einstellen/

    Hi Mischa2002k2,

Thanks for your comment and issue report.

Can you tell me if you use something else to handle your comments than the stock WordPress one?

    Kind regards,
    KIM

Not that I know of. Searched my plugin list for “comment” but there is nothing directly related to comments afaik.

However I now deactivated your plugin. Since no comments can be written with this bug, the comment will be rejected due to the missing checkbox “tick”. The user however can’t see this checkbox so the comments are all blocked. Thats why I had to turn this off.
