GDPR checkbox not showing

    Hello, i put a poll but the GDPR consent doesn’t show the checkbox (i see with the browser inspect that there is the input type checkbox), it only shows the text.

    I tried to swith to default WP Twenty Twenty-Three but the problem remains.

    Any help appreciated.

    I tested the link you sent over in different browsers and I can see the GDPR checkbox showing up.

    Were you able to fix it in the meantime?

    Hello, tested on Chrome and it’s ok, but on Brave (both mobile and desktop) is not showing.

    Seems like it’s blocked. But i can see correctly the radio buttons.

    Any solution for that?

    I tested on Brave (desktop) and the checkbox shows up.

    Can you give us more details on the OS and Brave version number you are running so we can try and replicate this on our end?

    Tested also on Linux Mint 21.1 and Brave v1.52.129, i had to disable Brave protection in order to see the checkbox, with the protection active the checkbox is not showing.

    How do I disable/enable Brave Protection?

    @yourownprogrammer just visit the site/Page then click the Brave logo that is in the address bar, you can then disable the protection with the switch, then reload the page/site.

    This is valid both for the mobile and desktop version of Brave browser.

    Thank you for the extra info.

    We were finally able to replicate this on a Linux Mint install.

    So we will troubleshoot now and see what is causing this.

    @simbian we have released a new version that addresses this issue.

    Can you check on your end and see if the checkbox is visible now?

    Tested on Brave mobile with protection activated.
