Hi,
With this we would like to inform you that Web-Dorado’s Contact Form Maker plugin does not collect and store any data of your users on our end. From this perspective, you may be subject to GDPR compliance, if you are collecting/storing/processing Personal data of your users.
Below are some tips you can use to improve your compliance with GDPR.
Collect data that you really need.
Do not record/store data that you do not need. Bring it to minimum, as easy as that.
You need to get explicit consent from your users
Under the GDPR, sensitive data can be processed if the data subject has consented to it. However, you must ensure that the consent you obtain is explicit, informed, specific and freely given. You can add a checkbox (as a “Required” option) to your form, so that your user will not be able to submit a form without checking that box. Also add text for your checkbox (i.e. “I consent to [yourwebsite.com] collecting and storing my data”). A good practice is to include a link to your Privacy Policy in this text. Note that your Privacy Policy needs to be GDPR compliant itself.
Your users may request access to their entry data and/or request to erase the data
Under GDPR your users may request access and/or erasure of their entry data at any time.
Here you can find how to export and/or delete submissions.
