• Hi Sayontan and/or Colin.

On the Suffusion site it said to post here. Hope this OK.

First of I love your theme! Love it!

With the GDPR now in effect I need to be sure (I do not want to use GA) that I comply with it. In the Theme (Back-End > Analytics) I see this comment “Please set this option to “Analytics enabled” if you want to override the theme’s settings for Analytics.”. I have Analytics turned of in my theme settings (Back-End > Analytics).

Does this quote mean that you guys use some form of Analytics, GA or any other one? Also can you tell me what is being done by Suffusion in the form of cookies it might set, ‘phone home’ or other things that might need to be included in the context of my GDPR declaration? You see if it does, I need to declare this on my website! That is why I need to know. Alternatively, if it sets cookies or the like, how to turn it of.

Thanks hope you can answer soon.

    Hi,
Please don’t post Suffusion-specific queries on the forum for Photonic. Suffusion was pulled from the WP repository 2 years back, and I hadn’t done any active maintenance on it for a considerable amount of time prior to that. It isn’t a project I support any more, and questions on this forum should be specific to Photonic though I am the person who created both products.

You can open a generic query on this forum and address it to me by using @sayontan. I will respond to the query there.
