    Any updated about Akismet’s GDPR compliance and how to acquire a data collection agreement?

    Hi guys,

    I enabled the new Akismet feature to be compliant with the GDPR. However, when I click the “Learn how your comment data is processed.” this doesn’t open in a new window but in the same window, meaning people are directed away from my blog. Is this something I can adjust? As much as I want to comply with the new GDPR rules, I do like keeping people on my site.

    Hi there,

    We released a new version of the Akismet Plugin (4.0.7) yesterday which contains a fix to open those links in a new tab. Please give that a try and let us know if you run into any issues.
