GDE Error: Requested URL is invalid

The firewall will be the problem. Google’s servers need to be able to access the file’s URL, but of course they can’t if it is behind a firewall.

I hope that explains why the plugin won’t work for you (unless you can move the documents to a URL outside the firewall, or open up the firewall).

I have the same problem even though my firewall is switched off.

Do you know what I can do?

My guess in this example is that either WordPress or Google is falling down on your accented character (é). I’d try again with a filename that doesn’t contain characters like that to see if that helps.
