  • I have no such problem. Dashboard can’t be loaded via the admin.php as far as I know.

There is something else wrong on your installation, because nothing that GD Press Tools does can’t modify the url for the dashboard. Check some of the other plugins you have.

Also the fact that disabling the plugin doesn’t solves the problem is the sign that this plugin can’t cause the problem.

I tried with another installation, the problem appears when I active folder protection.
I work on a local windows server (Wamp server) on windows XP.
Disabling the plugin and deleting the new index.php files keep the warning :
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\wamp\www\test\wp-admin\admin-header.php:108) in C:\wamp\www\test\wp-content\plugins\index.php on line 1

OK, now I have something to work with. I will test to see what can be the problem with these files.

    I’m glad if I can help ??

I can’t recreate the problem on live server or on development local server. I am using both WAMP and XAMP servers for development enviroments.

Also, what plugin does have nothing to do with administration. It simple creates index.php file in wp-content, wp-content/plugins and wp-content/themes folders. And this index file only redirects to site url.

In your case something else is trying to use this index.php, but I don’t know what.
