I currently have google ads pointing to a page that is being updated and is set to 302 redirect to a comparable page. During the redirect the GCLID (google click ID used for conversion tracking) is being truncated from 100 characters to 90 characters which prevents me from being able to track the conversion/sale back to the corresponding ad.

I realize I could update the ads, but this takes them offline for too long and loses their statistics every time you change the url, which isn’t a viable option for me.

Is there something in the code that could be causing this and can it be adjusted to prevent the GCLID from being cut off? The string starts with ?gclid= and then proceed with up to 100 characters in length. The overall url plus the additional character length is 144 characters.

Any insight on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
