    Hi,

According to Google Reporting Manual, the “ga:transactionRevenue” should be excluding shipping and tax. For these “ga:transactionShipping” and “ga:transactionTax” should be used.

However, when I check out my Google Anaytlics e-commerce report the total order value includes shipping and tax. Is it possible your plugin includes these in “ga:transactionRevenue”? Can these be excluded and placed within “ga:transactionShipping” and “ga:transactionTax” for better reporting?

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!

    Hi Erik,

    Thank you for contacting us!

“ga:transactionShipping” and “ga:transactionTax” is not included in total revenue by our plugin. It’s automatically added by GA.

Find the Below link for more details :

However you can find “Product Revenue” in the report which does not include “ga:transactionShipping” and “ga:transactionTax”.

    Hope that Helps!

    Thanks & Regards!

    Hi Tatvic,

    Thanks for your prompty reply!

In GA it says for Revenue the following “…Depending on your implementation, this can include tax and shipping”. Check out https://screencast.com/t/4Y3SbRfa6G3b

Do you have an idea how to exclude tax and shipping from the GA e-commerce reports? I find it strange the mention in their documentation it should be excluded, but apparently it is included in their reports after all?

    Hi Erik,

Thank you for getting back to us!

There is no way to get this type of information because if the tax and/or shipping information is supplied while setting up e-commerce tracking then Google Analytics will automatically include in the computation of total revenue.

The Only way to do this is that not send tax and shipping data in Google Analytics.

however you can generate some custom reports where you can take “Transaction ID ” as a dimension and “Product Revenue”, “Total Revenue”,”Tax”,”Shipping” as a metrics and match the data, but that will work for the transaction consisting single quantity.

    Hope that Helps!

    Thanks & Regards!
