Gateway Timeout. Is this caused by the plugin?

  • Hi,
    it is happening like 3 times a day, the site does not load and then I get the fllowing error.

    Gateway Timeout
    The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

    I was pointed out by the developers of the theme I am using to give a look to some of the plugins I am using and I read I might have to whitelist Sucuri IPs on the web hosting control panel. Is it like that even if I am not connected to Sucuri’s servers?

    Well, if someone know about it, please let me know.
