Gateway Timeout during Category mapping

    I have an online Shop for car parts with 5.000 products and 22.000 Categories (all the car models).
    All the settings are ok (see below).

    I always get the “Gateway Timeout” during the feed creation (google shopping, xml) after the field mapping..

    I have a Geek Account on Siteground.

    WP-Cron enabled True
    PHP-version sufficient True (7.3)
    Product feed directory writable True
    Product feed XML directory writable True
    Product feed CSV directory writable True
    Product feed TXT directory writable True
    Product feed TSV directory writable True
    Product feed LOGS directory writable True

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Unfortunately Siteground is not the best hosting company to host plugins that use a lot of CPU power.

    Their mythical CPU stats for shared hosting are a real problem for online shops, even for the top-end ‘Gogeek’ plan. Leaving WP_CRON enabled is simply not an option as well.

    The only possible solution here is to lower the batch size of our plugin to a much lower batch size, lets say 250, so the plugin uses less CPU power when creating feeds. This however is no guarantee you won’t hit their restrictions though.

    I copied the site to a local installation (local/flywheel) and there it works…

    yeah I am afraid this is Siteground related, we have had other users in the past experiencing these kind of issues. Does the feed process when you lower the batch size to a 100?
