    Hi,

    I’m trying to bulk import subscribers to a client website (currently on temporary domain: hosting-thecaketastingclub.xyz). I’ve followed the documentation guidelines and used the template provided, but I keep getting a 504 Gateway Timeout. This is the error message:

    Gateway Timeout
    The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

    I’ve already increased my memory limit to 256 MB.

    What should I do?

  • Hi,

    I am having the same problem. However, I managed to get round the problem by reducing the import number down to about 50 each time. Try importing them in smaller batches.

    The problem is not from the memory. The problem is the max execution time that your proxy allows your server to execute.

    We are working in a batch process but first we will implement it in export process instead in import. Anyway, we are working in a solution.

    In the meantime talk your hosting to increase those limits.
