Garbled Messages From WordPress About Comments To Blog

I am just beginning to learn about the website I am creating. In the comments area, I keep getting emails from wordpress saying a new comment has been posted and awaiting my approval, but they all look like this:

A new comment on the post “Home” is waiting for your approval

What in the world is this? It is all gibberish. I am getting these things constantly. Does anyone know what is causes this?
