• REVISED: If I could give this a ZERO rating I would, heck I would give it a -5 if I could. I have wasted so much time on this absolute trash heap. I can’t emphasize enough to avoid this plugin at all costs. Unless you enjoy a broken glitched poorly designed plugin.

It is unfortunate that the past two clients had so much invested in this ****heap, we had to continue to work with it. Now I am tripling my work because these clowns don’t know what they are doing.

    OLD REVIEW:

Transferred site, got the “new” version and instead of my site loading at 1.5 seconds… it is loaded at well over 15 seconds, every page. I deactivated all plug ins one by one and when I deactivated Nextgen… the site was uber fast. Not to mention the settings in the dashboard comes up with multiple errors to the database.

Hopefully they will fix it… but I can’t wait. My client is NOT happy about this…

    Hi @beruud,

We are sorry to hear of your experience but we couldn’t see any thread opened in the forum. We would have tried to help you or at least suggest something should you have asked us here or at support.

So if we correctly understood it, you’ve started to get a slow loading time from 1.5 seconds to 15 seconds after migrating the site to a new hosting and found that’s somehow related with NextGen Gallery plugin?

If that’s the case, first of all, we suggest you ensure that the Basic Migration Outline was correctly followed:

    On origin site

    • Create a full verified backup of the site (all files and the entire database).
    • Copy all database tables.
    • Copy gallery folders and contents.
    • Copy any custom Gallery Templates you have specially made.
    • Clear transients
    • You can install a plugin to clear them: Deleted expired transients
    • Or you can simply go to example.com/?ngg_flush=1 where “example.com” is your domain name.

On destination site / WordPress default installation (clean install):
