Garbage Collection Not Working

  • I run the hook “wp_session_garbage_collection” which calls the action ”
    wp_session_cleanup()” manually via a cron events plugin but the user’s session is not cleared.

    Ah I just realised that it hadn’t created the sessions table and was storing the data in the options table. All good now ??
