Gap under image carousel

This problem has already been raised but not resolved:

I have a gap under my image carousel. My section is set to no gap.
The image carousel has a border applied, which is what I want, but it unfortunately reveals this gap under the carousel.

I have tried setting the padding and margin of the carousel widget to 0px

I have already raised this with elementor live chat/email support. They suggested using css to set a max height. This is not a great fix.
All my images in the carousel are the same width and height.

Any help would be great – I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed in the next update
